Eating flowers
Tea
I asked him if I can try his tea, and he made a special one for Kimi. There were some green sweet-smelling leaves and 3 white pretty flowers in hot water. It wasn't a strong tea and I liked it. I was preparing myself to tell him it was a nice tea but just "Delam nemiyoomad golaye be oon khoshgeli ro bokhoram". I didn't know how I can say this sentence in English.
I can't bear to eat such beautiful flowers.. mm it seems it has negative load.
My heart can't take it to eat such... It is good, It is a little romantic.
How could you eat such.. ? A little aggressive
I felt like a cow when I was eating such beautiful flowers. Very rude
Finally, I didn't say anything, but he did say something unfortunately. He said: "Did you eat the flowers? (surprised) :o "
I felt embarrassed; I thanked God that I didn't say those stupid sentences.

hehe seems like "The path to a man's heart is through his stomach" has been said for me ;-) I would have loved to try it out but perhaps they were just for the decoration :-D
How did it taste??

The path to a kimi's heart is through her stomach too ;)
I wish I could explain the taste. It was strange. I would say a very light taste of Golgaavzaboon.

Kimia, sounds like a very romantic brew! I am staring at the photo trying to figure out what kind of flowers. Here jasmine tea is popular (black tea with little white starry jasmine flowers) but these flowers are much much bigger and different.
And why not eat the flowers? Life is short.
Here we make fancy salads sometimes with flowers in them--bright nasturtiums, which taste like radishes with a touch of honey, and blue borage flowers, which taste like cucumbers and sweetness, and sometimes violets, which taste--like violets.

Oh, and Kimia--for those of us who don't read Farsi--what is Golgaavzaboon made of??

:) yes, Really why not eating the flower? your special salad must be very tasty :) I always enjoy trying new things.
He said the name of the flower is Jasmine :)
I checked the dictionery. I found two translation for Golgaavzaboon.
It's a kind of flower, Borage and Cowslip, and when I checked the picture I think Borage was more similar to Golgaavzaboon. We make it dry and then we steam it like tea. It will be a very strong and dark brew :)
