I am saying the girl who survived driving in Tehran should not be obliged to pass another exam to get license. I am going to have the Road test exam on Tuesday; I have no car though. Why getting a driving license is so expensive here?? Wish me luck, your wishes always work.
As I get closer to moving, I more feel I like it here. I missed St. John’s’ summer and lots of its tourist attractions, which only happens in summer.
I am going to stay for a week in Kitchener with sister and friends. I have been there in Christmas, so I know the taste of Kabaab of the Iranian restaurant, yet Sara said they are closing; that’s unfortunate. I think I need to work on some drawings during this time, but I don’t have AutoCad. I wished I could find a friend in the school to use their computer lab.
There have been 6 people in my life, who had no relation with each other, and have made similar comments about my laugh. They said when I laugh, it seems like I laugh from the bottom of my heart. I am proud to receive this compliment several times because I, myself, like happy people. My sis used to say shut up, laugh silently; my mum always measures my spirit condition with the sound of my laugh, now that she doesn’t hear, she just asks. ”Are you laughing as you know I like, nazi?”
I have problems to recognize suitable dress for every occasion. I took a look at a Dress Code book in the library, but I found it useless for nowadays. The world seems to change very fast and switch to have no rules regarding to this culture- and taste-dependent issue. Anyways, I need a consultant. I don’t want to look strange.
Recently, I found a radio channel in Canadian channels for Country music and I really like it. I admit that most of the country songs sound similar and might be a little boring, but the thing that attracts me is the story behind each song. I found some of them very energizing, although the story might be a little sad. My favorite singers are Garth Brooks, great George Strait, David Ball, Holly Dunn.

Good luck, Kimia dear. You and your sister were such pretty children! (I didn't comment in your previous post, so had to mention it here). And I am sure you will manage to dress just right. Depending on where you are (are you talking about in the US?) things are pretty open. (Of course, my daughter has always said I need a consultant, because what I wear is thrown together more for comfort than for fashion, always).

Thank you dear Jarvenpa :) Yes I was talking about the US. I am going to a warm place in the US and I wonder how they dress formally for work. It should be very uncomfortable and hot with suit. Well, I think I will find out in a few weeks :) I care about comfort too; that's why I afraid I might look strange.

I am not sure if I can use my sister's account over there. She is in the Chemistry department. Are you offering help or you were just suggesting U of Waterloo in case I didn't know any school close by?

When you come from Iran, for sure you need to do a driving test! Because there is alomost no driving rule/law/regulation there!

Well, in a warm place in the US if you had to wear a suit you could wear one in a light fabric, but some places are very informal.
Tell us what you find when you arrive!
If it is a very warm place, also, they are likely to have air conditioning inside, so you would be comfortable.
